The Alfred State women's basketball team held Penn College to just 22 points in the 2nd half and rallied for a 66-62 victory.  The Lady Pioneers are now 6-2 on the year while the Lady Wildcats fall to 2-3. Read Article

Date stone ceremony commemorates start of construction on Student Leadership Center

New York State Senator Catharine Young (R-Olean) joined special guests of Alfred State recently to see a large granite stone engraved with the year '2011' placed at the entrance of the new Student Leadership Center (SLC) on the Alfred campus. Read Article

Jedadiah Platt (Appleton/Barker) and Jordan Rusek (Buffalo/Williamsville East) earned NJCAA DIII All-American honors following their top-15 finishes at the National Championships. Platt and Rusek were the top two runners for Alfred State all season long. Read Article
