Baseball to Host Prospect Camp

Alfred State baseball coach Jason Cronin and the rest of the coaching staff will host a Prospect Camp on Sunday, Jan. 27th at the Orvis Activities Center. The camp will allow high school players to showcase their skills in front of the Pioneer coaching staff.  Each participant will receive an evaluation of their skills from the coaching staff. WINS group holds annual ‘Women in the Field’ dinner

Architecture students earn awards for sketches produced in Italy

Three Alfred State students have been awarded cash prizes for architectural sketches they produced while participating in Alfred State’s study abroad program in Sorrento, Italy earlier this year. Read Article

Pioneers Finish 3rd at JCC Invitational

The Alfred State swimming team wrapped up the 2012 portion of their season with a 3rd place showing at the Jamestown CC Invitational. Only the men's team competed and scored 155 points on the day. Read Article

Student awarded national scholarship to participate in study abroad program

Deschamps is a junior studying architectural technology at Alfred State. He was selected for the scholarship out of more than 2,600 applications and will receive $4,500 from the organization to participate in Alfred State’s study abroad program in Sorrento, Italy in January. Read Article

Student awarded AIA scholarship

Alfred State student Kodie Tompkins is one of three area students who have been awarded a total of $6,000 in scholarship funds from the Rochester chapter of the American Institute of Architecture (AIA) and the Architectural Foundation of Greater Rochester. Read Article

Pioneers Can't Overcome Early Hole

Fueled by three forfeit victories in the first five matches, Mercyhurst North East jumped to a 25-0 lead en route to a 37-16 WNYAC dual meet victory over Alfred State.  The Pioneers finish the 2012 portion of their season with a 1-3 overall mark and a 1-2 WNYAC record. Read Article
