Veterans’ Day 2010 saw Alfred State College pay tribute to veterans and current members of the United States armed forces with the release of a special edition of Ergo, the student literary magazine, comprised of pieces written by current and former students who served or are serving in the armed forces and those who love them. ASC Students Participate in Northeast Regional Dairy Challenge

Five Alfred State College students, participating in mixed-university teams, captured two Platinum Awards, two Gold Awards, and one Silver Award for their team analyses and presentations to the panel of judges at the recent eighth annual Northeast Regional Dairy Challenge held in Batavia in October. Teen Film "To Save A Life" to be Screened at Alfred State College

The movie To Save A Life will be shown as part of anti-bullying week, at Alfred State College, Thursday, Nov. 18, 2010, at 5 p.m. in the Orvis auditorium on the Alfred campus. The movie, which is rated PG-13, is open to the public free of charge. A discussion of the film will follow immediately after the movie. Read Article

ASC Receives Gift of $20,000 From Donald Holzer, ’56

“Don’s gift will allow us to develop a great land laboratory,” says ASC Dean of Arts and Sciences Dr. Terry Tucker.
