Alfred State Welcomes New Police Chief

On August 15, 2013, the Alfred community welcomed Les Kachurek, a 23-year veteran of the City of Niagara Falls Police Department, as the new chief of police for the University Police Department, which coordinates law enforcement on the Alfred State campus. Read Article

Packard Selected to Participate in AP Program Reading for 11th Consecutive Year

Dr. Earl Packard, a Hornell native and professor in the Alfred State Mathematics and Physics Department, was selected to participate in the College Board’s Annual AP Reading in calculus again this summer—it will be his 11th time serving in this capacity. Read Article
