Car Care Awareness Day

Students enrolled in the Automotive Trades curriculums at Alfred State College celebrated National Car Care Month recently when they hosted their annual Car Care Awareness Day in mid-April, on the School of Applied Technology Campus, Wellsville, with a variety of free services, including checks of the following items:  lights, fluids, tires, battery, belts and pulleys, and an under-hood inspection.  Read Article

ASC Will Celebrate 100th Birthday, Thursday, May 8

Alfred State College will celebrate its 100th birthday on Thursday, May 8, 2008, with a day-long schedule of events to be held on the Alfred campus. Beginning at 11 a.m., the campus community will dedicate a "centennial bench" overlooking the academic quad. Read Article

Kellogg Article Published

Dr. Richard Kellogg, professor of psychology at Alfred State College, is the author of an article appearing in the most recent issue of The Baker Street Journal.  Titled "The Case-Book of Prince Zaleski," the article reviews the life of British writer M. P. Shiel and discusses his most famous literary creation, the brilliant detective Prince Zaleski. Read Article
