Lady Pioneers Split with Niagara

The Alfred State College softball team split a pair of WNYAC contests on Tuesday at Niagara CCC.  The Thunder Wolves rallied for a 7-5 victory in game one while ASC used a eight-run 5th inning en route to a 11-2 victory in game two. Read Article

#7 Monroe CC defeated Alfred State 21-6 in a WNYAC match-up in Rochester on Tuesday afternoon.  The win is the Tribunes 6th straight and improves them to 7-4 while the Pioneers fall to 0-8. Read Article

For the second day in a row, Alfred State and Jamestown CC split a Region III Division III twinbill at Bolivar Richburg High School.  The Pioneers won the opener 14-12 but JCC rallied for a 5-3 victory in game two. Read Article

#5 Herkimer Sweeps Lady Pioneers

The #5 ranked Herkimer CCC softball team swept a pair of Region III Division III contests as Alfred State opened up the home portion of their schedule.  The Generals earned 1-0 and 6-1 victories. Read Article

Women 7th, Men 9th at U of R Track Meet

The Alfred State College women's track and field team finished 7th out of 15 teams at the University of Rochester Invitational while the men were 9th.  The Pioneers were able to register 10 more NJCAA National Championship performances. Read Article

Alfred State Ready to Host Track National Championships

Beginning Wednesday, May 4, athletes representing 25 NJCAA institutions will travel to Alfred State College to participate in the 2011 Outdoor Track & Field Championships. The event will feature nearly 250 participants vying for both individual and team honors. Read Article
