A heavy thunderstorm forced the suspension of the Alfred State College softball game versus Erie CC on Tuesday afternoon. ASC led 1-0 heading into the top of the 2nd inning when lightning forced the teams off the field. Heavy rain followed and made the field unplayable.

Alfred State College sophomore Neil Wilson (Ft. Worth, TX) has been named to the second team of the Basketball Coaches Association of New York All-NYS Junior College team. Earlier in the year, Wilson was named 1st team All-Region and 1st team All-WNYAC.
