Pete Francia (Greece Olympia) and Brandon Lewis (Red Creek) qualified for the 2010 NJCAA Division III National Championships with wins at the Blue & Gold tri-meet. ASC's men finished 2nd with 112.5 points while the women were 3rd with 76 points.

The Alfred State College baseball team went 1-3 on a weekend road trip. ASC fell 1-0 and and 9-2 to Lackawanna (PA) College on Friday and then split a doubleheader with Hagerstown (MD) CC, winning 8-6 and falling 4-3 in eight innings. ASC is now 12-9 on the season.

A nine run 1st inning in game one and a seven run 2nd in game two led Herkimer CCC to a doubleheader sweep of Alfred State on Sunday afternoon. ASC's four game winning streak was snapped and the team falls to 6-8 (3-4 Region III Division III) on the year.

The Alfred State College lacrosse team snapped a six game losing streak with a 8-6 victory over Mercyhurst North East on Saturday at Pioneer Stadium. The win improves the Pioneers to 2-6 overall and and 2-4 in Region III play.

The Alfred State men's outdoor track & field team finished 8th out of 13 teams at the University of Rochester while the women finished 12th out of 14 teams. During the competition, four more athletes qualified for the NJCAA Division III National Championships.
