Indoor Track Opens Season at RIT

The Alfred State College indoor track & field opened up their 2012 season with a strong showing at the RIT Tiger Invitational.  David Miller (Elmira Southside) highlighted the day by qualifying for the NJCAA National Championship in the pole vault. Read Article

Men's Swim Team Wins Herkimer Title

The Alfred State College men's swimming team dove into the 2012 portion of their season with a 1st place finish at the Herkimer CCC January Sprint Invitational.  The Pioneers scored 216 points to win the event. Read Article

Drama Club to Present Staged Reading of The Laramie Project

The play is based on an incident that took place in 1998 when Matthew Shepard, a 21-year-old gay student registered at the University of Wyoming, was tied to a cattle fence, beaten about the head, robbed, and left to die on a bitterly cold night in October. Read Article

Financial Planning Students Quoted in Publications

“These students work very hard, and they are excited about joining the financial planning profession. Mitchell Publishes Poetry
