New students lend a helping hand to local community

A total of 16 projects took place in five areas this year – Alfred, Almond, Belmont, Hornell, and Wellsville. The projects ranged from exterior and interior painting at Hornell Area Concern for Youth, to moving and organizing book collections at the David A. Howe Public Library, to screen printing with the Alfred Farmers Market, and more.  Read Article

New Locker Room Facility at Pioneer Stadium

The facility features three locker room spaces. The largest space has over 100 lockers, showers, restrooms, and a laundry room while on the other side of the building there are a pair of identical locker rooms with 30 lockers, showers, and restrooms. Read Article

All aboard: Hinkle Library featuring exhibit on Erie Railroad

A wide variety of photographs, pictures, books, and objects are on loan from the museum, including railroad memorabilia such as lanterns, timetables, tickets, uniforms, postcards, and maps. Read Article

Alfred State greets new students for 2017-2018 academic year

After New Student Convocation, students, faculty, and staff headed to Pioneer Stadium to create a human Alfred State logo for a photo session, which was followed by food, music, and activities outdoors nearby the stadium. Read Article
