New Baccalaureate-level Sport Management Program

Alfred State College will be accepting students in a new baccalaureate-level sport management program beginning fall 2011. Students may enter the program, which results in a bachelor of business administration (BBA) degree, as freshmen; students holding associate degrees in sport management may transfer into the program with full junior status. Baseball Splits with Erie

The Alfred State College baseball team split a WNYAC doubleheader vs. Erie CC on Sunday afternoon.  The Kats won the opener 9-7 while the Pioneers won the nightcap 2-0.  ASC is now 3-3 on the season. Read Article

Pioneers Roll Past Hartwick JV

Cody Scepaniak (Vestal) and Josh Griffin (Englewood, NJ) connected on four touchdown passes and Sir Aaron Taylor (West Chester/Lincoln Hall) scored twice as the Alfred State football team rolled past Hartwick JV 56-23.  ASC is 2-0 for the first time since 2006 with the victory. Read Article

Lady Pioneers Win Jefferson Tourney

The Alfred State College volleyball team won the Jefferson CC Tournament on Saturday.  On the day, the Lady Pioneers were 4-1 and improve to 5-4 on the young season. Read Article

Pioneers Sweep Thunderwolves

The Alfred State College baseball team swept a pair of WNYAC contests from Niagara CCC, 1-0 & 5-2, to open up the home portion of the fall season.  ASC is now 2-2 on the young season. Read Article

Pioneers Fall to Jefferson

Alfred State scored less than two minutes in to their contest versus Jefferson CC but the Cannoneers scored the next three goals en route to a 3-2 victory.  ASC is now 1-1-1 on the season. Read Article

Lady Pioneers Win Home Opener

The Alfred State College women's soccer team defeated Jefferson CC 4-2 in their 2010 home opener.  The Lady Pioneers are now 1-1 on the young season. Read Article

Cross Country Wins ASC Invite

The Alfred State College cross country teams defeated Finger Lakes CC in the ASC Invitational on Saturday.  The Pioneer men scored a perfect 15 in winning while the women won by a score of 24-31. Read Article

Men's Basketball to Host Blood Drive

The Alfred State College men's basketball team will host a blood drive on Wednesday, Sept. 15th in the Central Dining Hall.  ASC has partnered with the Community Blood Bank of New York and will be competing with the SUNY Fredonia men's basketball team to see what team has the most donors in their location.
