Alfred State's Carey Crooker (Addison) and Masanari Yamamoto (Tokyo, Japan) were honored by the Western New York Athletic Conference at the annual athletic director's meeting. Crooker was named the co-freshman athlete of the year while Yamamoto was named the academic male athlete of the year.

Four members of the 2010 Alfred State College lacrosse team have earned All-WNYAC honors. Ryan Speciale (Corning West) and Chase Bailey (Corning West) were named to the 1st team while James Moss (Hilton) and Nick Young (West Seneca West) were 2nd team selections.

Alfred State freshmen softball Angie Depew (Wellsville) and Charise Nankivell (Hornell) have been named All-Western New York Athletic Conference. Depew was a first team selection while Nankivell was second team.

Five Alfred State outdoor track & field athletes have raced to NJCAA Division III All-Americans while six athletes earned All-Region honors. The Pioneer men's team finished 9th in the nation and 4th in Region III while the women were tied for 10th in the nation and 4th in Region III.
