Alfred State College quarterback Cody Scepaniak (Vestal) has signed and is enrolled this spring at Northern Michigan University.  Scepaniak will compete for the starting quarterback job this spring and fall for the Wildcats. Read Article

An undermanned Alfred State College men's basketball team gave Genesee CC all they could handle on Tuesday night.  The eight Pioneers that dressed trailed by only five at half but could never gain the lead in the second half and fell 85-74. Read Article

Changes in Basketball DH Tuesday

Changes have been made to the schedule for Alfred State College's basketball doubleheader on Tuesday evening.  The men's contest at Genesee CC will be now played at 4 p.m. followed by the women battling at 6 p.m. Changes were necessary due to the impending forecast of poor weather. Read Article

Peet Finishes 2nd at JCC Open

Tyler Peet (Unadilla Valley) led the Alfred State College wrestling team with a 2nd place finish in the 149 lb. weight class of the Jamestown Open. Read Article

Three More Pioneers Qualify for Nationals

The Alfred State College indoor track & field team competed at the GaREAT Collegiate Open hosted by Lake Erie College on Saturday.  Tyree Constantine (Binghamton), Isiah Whiting (Camden, CT), and Tara Murphy (Rochester/Wilson) all registered NJCAA National Championship qualifying performances. Pioneers Can't Stop NCCC Run

The Alfred State College men's basketball team led by as many as 16 in the 1st half but Niagara CCC used a 25-0 run that spanned the last six minutes of the 1st half and a the first five of the 2nd half to rally for a 79-66 victory.  Read Article
