Swimmers Wrap Up 2011 at Monroe

Alfred State College sophomores Camille Romero (Queens Village/Mary Louis) and Braden Kozlowski (N. Tonawanda) have been named the ASC Athletes of the Week by the SID office. Read Article

Eleven Football Players Named All-Region

Eleven members of the Region III Champion Alfred State College football team have been named to the All-Region team.  Quarterback Greg Hampton (Uniondale) was named Offensive Player of the Year while Colter Johnson (Warren, PA) was named Special Teams Player of the Year. Read Article

The Alfred State College wrestling team spent the weekend at Niagara CCC and picked up a dual victory and had three wrestlers place at the Thunderwolves Open. Read Article

Pioneers Swimmers Finish 3rd at MCC invite

The Alfred State College men's swimming team finished 3rd at the three-day Monroe CC Invitational.  The Pioneers scored 346 points in the competition.  Read Article

Harcum Downs Pioneers

The Alfred State College men's basketball team hung tough in the 1st half but could not overcome a early 2nd half run and fell 92-63 to Harcum College at the Monroe College Invitational. Read Article

Pioneers Can't Solve #1 Monroe

The Alfred State College men's basketball team could not solve #1 ranked Monroe College (New Rochelle, NY) in the first day of the Mustang Invitational.  Monroe raced to a 77-37 victory. Read Article

Lady Pioneers Can't Rally Back

The Alfred State College women's basketball team couldn't rally all the way back and suffered a 67-60 loss in Cleveland, OH to Cuyahoga CC.  The Lady Pioneers trailed 33-27 at half and by as many as 12 but cut it to three in the final minute, 63-60, but couldn't get any closer. Read Article
