Lady Pioneers Win Wild One

Haley Witchella (Oxford Academy) connected on a three-pointer with seven seconds remaining to give Alfred State a 65-64 lead en route to a 67-64 victory over Cayuga CC.  The Lady Pioneers are now 4-0 on the season. Read Article

Cayuga CC broke a 67-67 tie in the final seconds to spoil the Alfred State comeback en route to a 70-67 victory on Tuesday night.  ASC is now 2-2 on the year. Read Article

Four Lady Pioneers Named All-Region

The Alfred State College women's soccer team has landed four players on the 2011 All-Region team.  Jenna Lynn (York) was named 1st team while Holli Pierce (Livonia), Maura Tuffey (Albany/The Academy of the Holy Names), and Simone Delaney (Canisteo Greenwood) were named 2nd team. Read Article

Alfred State College sophomore volleyball players Mandy Bush (Altoona, PA) and Meghan Kraus (Trumansburg) have been named All-Region.  While Bush, Kraus, and Kay Pfleghardt (Tioga) were named All-WNYAC. Read Article

Lady Pioneers Win Delhi Tournament

The Alfred State College women's basketball team won a hard fought battle 74-71 over SUNY Delhi in the finals of the Delhi Tournament.  The win improves the Lady Pioneers to 3-0 on the young season. Read Article
