Richardson brings with him more than 30 years of experience in law enforcement, having served as a police officer for the city of Hornell, the village of North Hornell, the village of Andover, and the village of Alfred. He also served as chief of the village of Alfred police and is a retired criminal justice instructor who taught at the Greater Southern Tier BOCES Coopers Plains campus for 12 years.
