The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) recently announced its Two-Year Colleges Women's Volleyball All-American Team, and Alfred State's Yurika Toyodome (Tokyo, Japan) was named to the First Team. This is the first time ever an Alfred State athlete has received this honor. Toyodome is the only NJCAA Division III player named to the First Team.

After a slow first five minutes, Gensee CC got their offense going in a 92-61 WNYAC victory over Alfred State on Tuesday evening. The Cougars, ranked #6 in the latest NJCAA Division III poll, trailed 14-0 after five minutes but went on to hit 15 three-pointers to improve to 9-0 on the season.
