Wrestlers Finish 16th at NYS Championships

The Alfred State College wrestling team finished 16th out of 18 teams at the annual New York State Championships this weekend at SUNY Oswego.  The Pioneers scored five points in the event that features wrestlers from every New York school that sponsors a wrestling program (NJCAA, NCAA Division I and NCAA Division III). Pioneers race past JCC-Olean

The Alfred State College men's basketball team shot 50.9% (28 for 55) from the field as the opened up 2009 with a 71-44 victory over JCC-Olean on Saturday.  ASC evens up their record at 7-7 (1-1 WNYAC). Read Article

Food Donated to Turning Point Food Pantry

The Civic Engagement and Activism Headquarters at Alfred State College conducted a food drive prior to Christmas during which the members collected four large boxes of food from the students of Alfred State College.  Read Article

Local Technician Receives National Award
