Local Educator Selected to Participate in AP Program Reading

Mathematics and Physics Department, Alfred State College, was selected to participate in the annual Reading and scoring of the College Board’s Advanced Placement Examinations this June in Kansas City, MO.  He will be reading the calculus exams for the eighth consecutive year. Read Article

Track Athletes Grab National Honors

Five Alfred State outdoor track & field athletes have raced to NJCAA Division III All-Americans while six athletes earned All-Region honors.  The Pioneer men's team finished 9th in the nation and 4th in Region III while the women were tied for 10th in the nation and 4th in Region III. Read Article

ASC set to host Summer Sports Festival

Alfred State College will host the 2010 Summer Sports Festival beginning on Monday, June 28th.  The summer sports festival will include the 29th annual day camp and the 42nd annual learn-to-swim program. Read Article

Commencement 2010

Nearly 900 two- and four-year graduates, their families, professors, and friends were on hand Sunday, May 16, as Alfred State College honored its 99th graduating class.
