The Alfred State College women's basketball team gave Lakeland CC all they could handle in a 59-56 loss on Saturday.  The loss snaps the Lady Pioneers four game winning streak and drops the team to 9-4 on the year. Read Article

Sections of the internationally celebrated AIDS Memorial Quilt – the 54-ton, handmade tapestry that stands as a memorial to more than 92,000 individuals lost to AIDS – were recently on view at Alfred State College, as part of World AIDS Day – Dec. 1, 2010. Read Article

Big 2nd Half Leads Cuyahoga Past ASC

Alfred State and Cuyahoga CC were tied 34-34 at half but the Challengers went on a run en route to a 70-58 victory on Thursday in Cleveland, OH.  The Pioneers are now 2-8 on the season. Read Article

Frey Signs with Delaware State

Alfred State College sophomore baseball player JP Frey (Erie, PA/McDowell) has signed a letter of intent to continue his academic and athletic career at Delaware State University.  Frey made his decision during the early signing period and will join the Hornets in the fall of 2011. Read Article

Slow Start Dooms Pioneers

Finger Lakes CC started the game on a 25-6 run as they downed Alfred State 77-62 on Tuesday evening.  The loss drops the Pioneers to 2-7 on the season. Read Article

Late Run Leads Lady Pioneer Past FLCC

The Alfred State College women's basketball team went on a 11-0 run late in the second half en route to a 62-57 victory over Finger Lakes CC.  FLCC led 54-50 with just under six minutes when ASC went on their run. Read Article
