Painted Ladies to Exhibit at Hinkle Library Gallery

Four women...four backgrounds....four approaches to art, all meeting weekly to paint together, challenge one another, and laugh. All formerly or currently work in Belmont and paint together there after work. All started with some tole painting, but moved on. All are, mostly, self-taught, other than occasional weekend seminars, or one day classes. Read Article

The Alfred State College baseball and softball teams have announced the schedules for their upcoming spring trips.  The baseball team will be heading to Cocoa Expo in Cocoa, FL while the softball team will be at Snowbird Softball in Myrtle Beach, SC. Read Article

Pioneers Sit in 10th after Day One of Swim Nationals

The Alfred State College men's swimming team opened up the 2011 NJCAA National Championships with strong performances in the opening night relays.  The blue & gold sit in 10th out of the 14 teams that have scored afer day one. Read Article

Ten Pioneers Ready for Indoor Nationals

Ten members of the Alfred State College indoor track & field team have traveled to Lubbock, TX and Texas Tech University for the 2011 NJCAA National Championships.  Competition begins on Friday and runs all day Saturday. Read Article

Romero, Brooks, and Campbell Earn Honors

A trio of Alfred State College women's basketball players have earned postseason honors.  Camille Romero (Queens Village/Mary Louis) was named 1st team All-Region & All-WNYAC, Amie Brooks (Pavilion) was named 3rd team All-Region & All-WNYAC, and Shadeeka Campbell (Brooklyn/William Grady) was named honorable mention All-WNYAC.
