Laxsters Fall at Herkimer

The Alfred State College lacrosse team struggled in the second half and fell 18-6 to Herkimer CCC in cold and windy conditions.  The Pioneers trailed just 5-3 at half but were outscored 13-3 in the second. Read Article

Car Care Awareness Day, Saturday, April 9

Community members are encouraged to bring their cars and light trucks to campus for the following FREE check-up performed by Alfred State College automotive students: lights, fluids, tires, battery, belts and pulleys, and an under-hood inspection. Every car that goes through the inspection process will also receive a car wash FREE of charge. Read Article

ASC Presents…A Business Boot Camp for Disabled American Veterans

Each day will include three meals, two classroom instruction periods, and guest speakers. On-campus lodging will be available in close proximity to classroom locations. Participants staying on campus will be required to arrive on Sunday evening, June 5. All materials, as well as expenses for food and lodging, have been donated. Read Article

Students at Alfred State College will present the play Duck Hunter Shoots Angel by Mitch Albom, Thursday and Friday, April 7 and 8, 2011, at 7 p.m., and Saturday, April 9, at 2 p.m. in the Orvis Activities Center Auditorium on the Alfred campus.
