More than 900 students from Region I BOCES (Board of Cooperative Education and Services) districts encompassing Western New York and the Southern Tier, competed in the 21st annual SkillsUSA-Region I Leadership Conference and Skills Olympics, (formerly VICA--Vocational Industrial Clubs of America) held in March at Alfred State College. Lady Pioneers Sweep Past Erie

Playing for the first time in over two weeks, the Alfred State College softball team scored 34 in a doubleheader sweep over Erie CC.  With the 19-9 and 15-7 victories the Lady Pioneers are now 3-7 overall and 2-2 in Region III Division III contests. Read Article

Three more Qualify for Track Nationals

Strong 2nd and 3rd Quarter Lead Delhi Past ASC

SUNY Delhi outscored Alfred State 10-1 in the second and third quarters en route to a 16-8 victory in the Pioneers home opener.  Delhi is now 2-4 on the season while ASC falls to 0-5. Read Article

ASC’s 12th Annual Regional Science and Technology Fair

Eighty science and technology projects were on display for judging and public viewing. Participants were divided into senior (grades 10-12), junior (grades 7-9), and novice grade categories. Read Article
