Lakeland CC used a monster 2nd half to ease past Alfred State 94-71 on Saturday afternoon. The Lakers used a 45 to 17 run and tallied 62 points in the 2nd to improve to 19-7 on the year.

The Alfred State women's basketball team used a 27-0 run to run past Lakeland (OH) CC in their final non-conference contest of the season. The Lady Pioneers have now won six straight games and are 16-8 on the year.

Twenty-three students, staff, and faculty members from both campuses volunteered at various locations around the area, including, Turning Point Catholic Charities, Hornell; Jones Memorial Hospital and Manor Hills, Wellsville; and St. Jude’s Chapel, Alfred.
