The Alfred State women's cross country team finished 8th while the men were 9th at the Hamilton College Invitational. The Lady Pioneers scored a 254 while the men scored a 253. Read Article

Lady Split Opening Pair at OCC Tourney

The Alfred State volleyball team split their opening two matches at the Cara Bryant Memorial Tournament at Onondaga CC on Friday evening. The Pioneers defeated SUNY Delhi 25-16, 25-17 but fell to Jamestown CC 25-18, 25-16. The Lady Pioneers have two more preliminary games slated for Saturday before tournament playoffs. Read Article

The cross country teams and the women's soccer team remained in their spots in the latest NJCAA Division III polls. Both the men's and women's cross country teams are ranked #2 for the 2nd straight week while the women's soccer team sits at #4 for the 2nd straight week. Read Article

Eleven Straight For Lady Pioneers

The #4 ranked Alfred State women's soccer team won their eleventh straight game with a 4-0 victory at Corning CC on Thursday. The Lady Pioneers are now 11-1, 10-0 Region III Division III, on the year and have recorded four straight shutouts. Read Article

The Alfred State men's soccer team recorded their second straight shutout with a 3-0 victory over Corning CC on Thursday. The Pioneers improve to 4-6-3 on the year (4-5-2 Region III Division III). Read Article

Muhleisen and Frazer Named September Athletes of the Month

Women's soccer player Kali Muhleisen (Alfred Almond) and football player Colin Frazer (Woodbridge, VA) have been named the Alfred State athletes of the month for September.

Muhleisen has netted four hat tricks as the Lady Pioneer soccer team has raced out to a 10-1 record.  She leads the team with 44 points on 19 goals and six assists.  She has recorded points in nine of the blue & gold's eleven games.  Currently she is 4th in NJCAA in both goals and points on the year for the #4 ranked Pioneers.
