The Alfred State College softball team dropped a WNYAC doubleheader to Mercyhurst North East on Saturday afternoon. In the opener, the Lady Pioneers played tough but fell 6-4 and in the nightcap the Lady Saints scored early to take control of the contest and won 13-3. ASC falls to 8-14 on the season.
