Lady Pioneers fall to Mercyhurst NE

The Alfred State College softball team dropped a WNYAC doubleheader to Mercyhurst North East on Saturday afternoon.  In the opener, the Lady Pioneers played tough but fell 6-4 and in the nightcap the Lady Saints scored early to take control of the contest and won 13-3.  ASC falls to 8-14 on the season. Pioneers Lacrosse falls at FLCC

The Alfred State College lacrosse team jumped out to a 3-0 lead but Finger Lakes CC scored six of the next seven goals and never gave the lead up in a 19-14 Region III victory.  With the victory the Lakers improve to 8-7 while the Pioneers fall to 6-3. Read Article

Lady Pioneers fall to Genesee

The Alfred State College softball team dropped both games in a WNYAC doubleheader at Genesee CC on Thursday.  The Lady Pioners fell 7-2 and 16-1 to fall to 8-12 overall on the year. Read Article

Feldman Honored with Killian Award of Excellence

Lax climbs into NJCAA Poll

The Alfred State College lacrosse team has jumped in to the NJCAA national poll for the first time in 2008.  The Pioneers are currently ranked #10. Read Article

The Alfred State College track and field teams remain in the top ten of the latest NJCAA Division III poll.  The men's team remains ranked #5 while the women slipped down to #8 after being ranked #6 last week. Read Article

ASC Will Celebrate 100th Birthday, Thursday, May 8

Alfred State College will celebrate its 100th birthday on Thursday, May 8, 2008, with a day-long schedule of events to be held on the Alfred campus. Beginning at 11 a.m., the campus community will dedicate a "centennial bench" overlooking the academic quad. Read Article
