The Alfred State women's basketball team took home the top two honors at the Region III Division II Tournament. Haley Witchella (Oxford Academy) was named the RIII DII Player of the Year and Gina Boyd was named the Coach of the Year. Read Article

Pioneers Baseball Drops Opener

The Alfred State baseball team struggled to get the offense going and fell to Keystone (PA) College JV in their 2012 spring season opener.  The Giants won the opener 11-0 and the nightcap 8-3. Read Article

Alfred State sophomore Tara Murphy (Rochester/Wilson) earned a 5th place finish at the NJCAA Indoor National Championships at Eastern Illinois.  Travis Nagle (Randolph) finished 9th in the two-day heptathlon competition. Read Article
