September 11: Patriot Day and National Day of Service and Remembrance

On Sept. 11, 2001, almost 3,000 people lost their lives during the attacks at the Twin Towers, the Pentagon, and aboard United Airlines Flight 93. Twenty-two years later, Alfred State continues to honor these victims and their families. We also remember the heroic efforts of first responders who endangered their lives answering the call. Alfred State Culinary Arts to host take-out Barbecue Dinner

The Alfred State College (ASC) Culinary Arts department will host a take-out barbecue dinner on September 21 at the Culinary Arts Building on the Wellsville campus. Proceeds of the event will benefit the program’s scholarship fund. Read Article

Bob Pahl Sketching Award recipients announced

The honor began in 2012 and is named for Bob Pahl, a Boston-area architect, who graduated from Alfred State in 1981 with a degree in architectural engineering technology. The awards were presented this year to Vina Pham, Lauren Fisher, and Katie Petix. Read Article
