ASC opened up the day by dropping a five-game match to Delhi (25-23, 18-25, 25-21, 17-25, 12-15) but rebounded for a 3-1 victory over Mohawk Valley CC (25-21, 23-25, 25-21, 25-11) and a 3-0 win over Herkimer CCC (25-23, 25-10, 25-20).

Holli Pierce (Livonia) scored 4:02 into the 2nd overtime to lift Alfred State to a 1-0 victory over Erie CC on Thursday evening. The win improves the #8 Lady Pioneers to 8-2 on the season and 7-2 in Region III Division III play.

Alfred State and Erie CC battled back and forth for 90 minutes with the decisive plays of the contest coming within two minutes of each other. ECC netted the lone goal of the contest five minutes into the 2nd half and then denied a penalty kick opportunity less than two minutes later.
