A Message from University Police
Congratulations and welcome to Alfred State College! The University Police Department consists of sworn, non-sworn, and civilian members whose primary goal is to ensure a safe and secure campus atmosphere that is conducive to learning. To that end, the campus is patrolled 24-hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year by New York State certified police officers, who have also experienced college life from the student perspective. We will be here to inform, protect, and assist you throughout your Alfred State experience.
As a new student here at Alfred State College, you will be inundated with information from a variety of sources, including our department. This website is designed to help introduce you to our department, its operation and functions, and to help you find the information most pertinent to you. The site also provides a wide variety of information on personal safety issues and policies and procedures that are important to all students. Please take the time to navigate through each of the links and review the information they contain. You will find the information very useful as you start your Alfred State experience and as a resource for the future.
