Health and Wellness Services
Our team provides confidential and professional medical and mental health care for all of our students. We have offices on both the Alfred and Wellsville campus locations and are available to provide personalized care and support to promote a healthy and safe campus environment.
Our Health & Wellness Center offers a range of services from routine checkups and treatment for minor illnesses or injuries to referrals for specialized care. Licensed medical professionals are here to provide confidential, compassionate support tailored to your needs as a student.
Our Counseling Services team offers supportive, confidential counseling for all Alfred State students (with a valid health fee). Appointments are available in person or via a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform.
With reoccurring events like the De-Stress Fest and dedicated facilities like our mind spa at The Oasis, your wellness is a top priority. College can be stressful, but we aim to create programming that supports your rest, relaxation, and wellness.
Wellsville Health & Wellness Services
Alfred State's Wellsville campus offers its own Health & Wellness services in the Pioneer Student Union (PSU). Appointments are recommended.
Services Offered
- On-site Healthcare: The PSU Health & Wellness office (1st floor) has a nurse available daily and a nurse practitioner twice a week.
- Fitness & Recreation: A full gymnasium, fitness center with free weights, and recreational facilities.
- Student Support: The Coordinator of Student Affairs is available for guidance and referrals.
