Graduate on Time with SUNY ASAP|ACE
SUNY Advancing Success in Associate Pathways (ASAP) and Advancing Completion through Engagement (ACE) provides students with the support they need to finish their degrees on time at both the two-year and four-year level.
The supports include funding to cover textbooks, groceries, transportation, and other costs of attendance, academic assistance, comprehensive personalized advisement, and career development activities.
What ASAP|ACE Offers
ASAP|ACE helps you get the support you need to succeed. You'll receive:

- Cost of Attendance Award ($550/year) after financial aid applied
- Textbook assistance ($150/semester - $300/year)
- Monthly stipend ($50/month - up to $400/year)

Am I Eligible for ASAP|ACE?
ASAP Eligibility
In order to be eligible, you must:
- Be enrolled full-time (12 Credits) in a matriculated, approved, and degree granting program.
- Be eligible for in-state tuition, as determined by campus policies.
- Be a first-time student with up to 21 credits (excluding high school credits) and a minimum 2.0 GPA.
- Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and New York State Tuition Assistance Program (TAP)
- Receive at least $1 of federal Pell or NYS grant aid (TAP or Excelsior).
- ASAP students cannot participate in the Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) or majors that require an interview or portfolio review to be accepted.
- Attend and participate in all mandatory ASAP|ACE activities
- Maintain good academic standing
- Be a U.S. citizen or eligible noncitizen (NYS DREAM Act students also eligible)
ACE Eligibility
In order to be eligible, you must:
- Be enrolled full-time (15 Credits) in a matriculated, approved, and degree granting program.
- Be eligible for in-state tuition, as determined by campus policies.
- Be a first-time student with up to 21 credits (excluding high school credits) or a transfer student with an earned associate’s degree or 60 accepted transfer credits and at least a 2.0 GPA.
- Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and New York State Tuition Assistance Program (TAP)
- Receive at least $1 of federal Pell or NYS grant aid (TAP or Excelsior).
- Attend and participate in all mandatory ASAP|ACE activities
- Maintain good academic standing
