Our Mission
The Marketing and Communications Department at Alfred State College is the central hub for sharing the college’s story with the public. Our team manages brand strategy, media relations, marketing campaigns, print, photography, videography, web content, and social media as well as mail services.
We collaborate with departments across campus to ensure consistent, engaging messaging that reflects our mission of providing practical, hands-on learning that leads to great careers.
Our team serves as the main point of contact for external media on information about Alfred State College. We provide press releases, coordinate interviews, supply photos and video, and connect members of the media with subject matter experts.

Alfred State’s award winning Print and Mail Services (PAMS) produces wide variety of projects for both on-campus and off-campus clients, ensuring top quality services overall. PAMS specializes in many different print and mailing services for on-campus and off-campus customers using sophisticated equipment and software operated by experienced technicians.
The Marketing Communications Office manages Alfred State’s digital presence, including the main college website, social media platforms, and digital marketing campaigns as well as the production of photo and video content. Our web and content teams work to ensure the college’s online presence are accessible, accurate, and authentic.
