Pebbles and Pettibone-Domingos were honored with the Distinguished Alumni Award while Bull and Miller were honored with the Outstanding Young Alumni Award.

Pebbles, an Engineering Science graduate, built an exceptional career with General Motors, rising to executive leadership roles. He played a key role in the development of OnStar and later served as Chief Technical Officer of Maven, leading product and technology strategy. As Chief Engineer, he managed an $80 million IT portfolio and led large, high-performing technical teams. A prolific innovator, he holds fifteen patents and received GM’s highest honor for innovation, the Boss Kettering Award, for his work enabling keyless vehicle access via mobile technology.

While at Alfred State he was a standout student-athlete. He was a member of conference and regional championship cross country teams and competed at the national level, earning NJCAA Academic All-American honors. He also contributed to an indoor track and field team championship and remains ranked in the college’s all-time top ten for the 10,000-meter event.

He has remained actively engaged, serving on the Alfred State Alumni Board and contributing for a decade to Northwestern University’s advisory board, mentoring students, and supporting innovation.

Pettibone-Domingos, a Human Services graduate, has transformed personal adversity into a lifelong commitment to helping others. Overcoming her own struggles with addiction, she earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from Southern Connecticut State University after finishing at ASC and built a career dedicated to recovery and support services.

She has served as Director of the MATCH Program at St. James Mercy Hospital and later as Vice President of Support Services at Arbor Housing and Development, expanding access to critical housing resources.

Since 2015, Ann has served as CEO of CASA-Trinity, where she leads comprehensive substance use treatment programs, including Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT), with a focus on holistic, client-centered care.

She exemplifies the spirit of Alfred State, using her journey to inspire change and improve the lives of others.

Bull graduated from the Agriculture Tech program while simultaneously earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts at Alfred University. She went on to earn her master’s degree from Tufts University and has been involved in advancing sustainable agriculture, food systems, and community development.

Since graduation she has served in leadership and policy roles for regional and national initiatives. She is currently a policy specialist with the National Farm to School Network working to expand access to healthy local foods.

Miller was heavily involved in campus and student life while she worked to graduate from the Agricultural Entrepreneurship program. During her schooling, she completed an internship at Western New York Crop Management Association as a summer crop scout, focusing on corn, soybeans, and alfalfa production. She scouted for crop population, disease, and pest presence along with weed identification.

Miller currently works as a Field Crops and Forage Specialist for Cornell Cooperative Extension’s Southwest NY program. In the role, she connects with local farms to provide research-based support and services. She also returns to campus regularly to speak to current students and chairs the current five-year review committee.

The Distinguished Alumni Award is presented to an Alfred State graduate for significant accomplishments in their personal and professional life or for distinguished service in their community.

The Outstanding Young Alumni Award recognizes an Alfred State graduate who, within ten years of their graduation, has demonstrated outstanding service to their profession, community, and Alfred State.

The event also honored Alfred State alumni celebrating milestone reunions and those faculty and staff that donate back to the college through the Accentuate Alfred campaign.
