Graduate on Time with SUNY ASAP|ACE

SUNY Advancing Success in Associate Pathways (ASAP) and Advancing Completion through Engagement (ACE) provides students with the support they need to finish their degrees on time at both the two-year and four-year level.

The supports include funding to cover textbooks, groceries, transportation, and other costs of attendance, academic assistance, comprehensive personalized advisement, and career development activities.

Any student who is eligible for Pell or TAP is eligible for ASAP|ACE.

What ASAP|ACE Offers

Am I Eligible for ASAP|ACE?

ASAP Eligibility

In order to be eligible, you must:

  • Be enrolled full-time (12 Credits) in a matriculated, approved, and degree granting program.
  • Be eligible for in-state tuition, as determined by campus policies.
  • Be a first-time student or transfer with less than 21 credits and a minimum 2.0 GPA.
  • Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and New York State Tuition Assistance Program (TAP)
  • Receive at least $1 of federal Pell or NYS grant aid (TAP or Excelsior).
  • ASAP students cannot participate in the Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) or majors that require an interview or portfolio review to be accepted.
  • Attend and participate in all mandatory ASAP|ACE activities
  • Maintain good academic standing

ACE Eligibility

In order to be eligible, you must:

  • Be enrolled full-time (15 Credits) in a matriculated, approved, and degree granting program.
  • Be eligible for in-state tuition, as determined by campus policies.
  • Be a first-time student or transfer with an associate degree.
  • Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and New York State Tuition Assistance Program (TAP)
  • Receive at least $1 of federal Pell or NYS grant aid (TAP or Excelsior).
  • Attend and participate in all mandatory ASAP|ACE activities
  • Maintain good academic standing
