College Sports Communicators (CSC) has named the recipients of its 30 Under 30 Class of 2025. Alfred State's Director of Athletic Communication Will Rollison, '19, was included in the group of honorees.

The 30 Under 30 honor recognizes emerging athletics communications professionals at all levels of college sports in strategic, creative and digital spaces.

"We are proud to recognize and honor the rising talent and amazing achievements of so many incredible individuals with the latest 30 Under 30 class," said 2025-26 CSC President Patrick Crawford. "College Sports Communicators, at its core, is an organization that is driven by the strengths, skills and passions of its members. As new communicators join our ranks and begin to build their careers, we are fortunate to take this opportunity to celebrate the best of CSC's young professionals. This class is representative of both the diversity of our membership and the breadth of our overall community. Congratulations to this year's honorees."

Rollison added, "I am beyond grateful to be recognized for an award like this… This award lets me know I am on the right path…and it motivates me to keep learning and contributing to the industry."

Rollison returned to Alfred State in 2023 as Director of Athletic Communications. A former four-year men's basketball student-athlete, sport management major, and senior-year Sports Information intern, he wasted no time elevating the department that helped shape his early career. In just three years, Rollison has overseen a comprehensive modernization of Alfred State's communications operation - leading written and digital content, enhancing statistical accuracy and record keeping, and reimagining live-streaming through the creation of the Pioneer Sport Network. His leadership has ushered in Media Days, improved year-end celebrations, expanded graphic promotion, and developed hands-on training that has strengthened the department's photography and video output.

Beyond communications, Rollison plays a substantial role in the broader athletics ecosystem. He manages gameday operations, teaches in the sport management program, serves on key campus committees, and contributes as an assistant men's basketball coach. His dedication earned him the 2024-25 William Havens Award, honoring the staff member who most significantly advances the athletic department's mission. He further invested in his professional growth by attending the 2025 Division III Institute for Administrative Advancement.

Rollison's path also includes impactful stops at Waldorf University and the University of the Cumberlands, where he built foundational experience across numerous varsity programs and digital platforms.
