The bachelor of technology degree in cyber security is designed to prepare graduates to enter the workforce as cyber security professionals with a special emphasis in network and host security. Coursework in the department prepares students for many certifications: Cisco-certified Network Association (CCNA), CCNA Security, Security+, Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist, and Network+. A full semester internship is included.
Organizations of all types and sizes need information technology professionals and the emphasis on security has never been higher. Employment and continuing education rate of 100%. One hundred percent are employed.
