Three Lady Pioneers named All-WNYAC

Alfred State College women's soccer players Brittany Hannah (Eastridge), Jody Ninos (Alfred Almond), and Kaila Smith (Alfred Almond) have been honored by being named All-WNYAC.  Hannah and Ninos were 1st team selections while Smith was named to the 2nd team.

Jody NinosBrittany HannahKaila SmithAlfred State College women's soccer players Brittany Hannah (Eastridge), Jody Ninos (Alfred Almond), and Kaila Smith (Alfred Almond) have been honored by being named All-WNYAC.  Hannah and Ninos were 1st team selections while Smith was named to the 2nd team.

Hannah led A-State with 15 goals and six assists on the season (36 points).  She recorded one hat trick versus Jamestown CC and had two-goals in four other games.  

Ninos finished the year with 10 goals and a team-high 10 assists (30 points).  She scored two goals and had an assist in three straight Pioneer victories (JCC-Olean, Erie CC, and Cayuga CC).  Ninos finishes her career with 25 goals and 20 assists.

Smith played all over the field for the Blue and Gold.  She finished the year with a goal and three assists.  Her lone goal of the year came in a loss at Jefferson CC.  Playing both offensive and defensive midfield, Smith helped ASC to four shutouts on the year.

The Lady Pioneers finished the season 7-8-1 and advanced to the Region III Division III Tournament as the #11 seed.  The trip to the Regionals was the programs third in a row.
