Five architecture students were inducted in the third class of Alfred State’s Tau Sigma Delta honor society.
Cormac Fitzpatrick (East Syracuse, NY), Riley McCarthy (Schenectady, NY), Diego Multini (Mount Vernon, NY), Zion Threats (Staten Island, NY), and Celina Weiner (Newfield, NY) were inducted in the 2026 class. Each inductee received a certificate to commemorate the achievement from Architecture and Design Professor William Dean.
Tau Sigma Delta Honor Society in Architecture and Allied Arts is the only national honor society for architecture and design majors that is accredited by the Association of College Honor Societies.
The honor society recognizes intellectual achievement, effort, and initiative as well as leadership and character. This prize of membership acknowledges undergraduate and graduate students who attain high scholastic standing in their field.
Selena Fullone (Webster, NY), student president of the Alfred chapter, was excited to honor her classmates. “I am excited for the newly inducted 2026 class of passionate and driven students. They are great students inside and outside of the classroom and bring a strong work ethic and passion for architecture and design. It’s inspiring to be surrounded by such creative and motivated individuals, and I look forward to seeing their continued growth as they pursue their paths within the field and beyond.”
