Two Alfred State College students enrolled in the automotive service technician freshman, and Mathew Mercadante, Delhi, an automotive parts technology freshman were the honored recipients. In order to qualify for the award, winners had to submit an application, essay, and letter of reference to the Global Automotive Aftermarket Symposium (GAAS) which forwarded the information to the state association.
