We are so close that you may recognize the Alfred State name because the Pioneers come to play in Pennsylvania for many of our games. As a member of the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC), we regularly compete in the Pennsylvania towns of Altoona, Bradford, Cresson, Erie, Greensburg, Logan Township, McCandless, and the Pittsburgh Metro Area.
The Alfred State Pioneers are approximately 400 student-athletes strong in NCAA Div. III Sports.
