Alfred State's veterinary technology program is fully accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association. Licensed veterinary technicians are indispensable members of the veterinary medical team, capable of providing everything from life support and surgical assistance to physical therapy and nutritional management.
Alfred State is equipped with very own farm, allowing students to easily specialize in large animal care. With cows, goats, sheep, and more, the farm offers vet tech students additional skills and specializations for their future career.
To further enhance your skills, we offer a dedicated exotics class that gives you hands-on experience examining and caring for exotic animals. With this wide variety of classes, you'll have all the skills you need to succeed.
