As we observe Memorial Day, I ask that the Alfred State community pause to honor the brave servicemen and women who gave their lives in defense of our nation and our freedoms.
Their courage, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to others represent the very best of our country. Today, we remember those heroes with gratitude and humility, while also recognizing the families and loved ones who carry their legacy forward.
May we never forget the sacrifices made on our behalf, and may we continue to live in a way that honors their service.
