Hayek Global College, an innovative institution based in Brasília, Brazil, has announced a joint international initiative with Alfred State College (SUNY) to launch the Hayek Global Tech Leaders Academy. Taking place from Jan. 24 - Feb. 6, 2027, this academic, applied technology, and cultural immersion program brings Brazilian students to Western New York to explore cutting-edge academic pathways, gain practical laboratory experience, and engage in cross-border professional development.

Through this partnership, students gain direct access to Alfred State’s applied learning ecosystem, including executive business workshops, technical sessions in information technology, and specialized transfer pathway guidance. The initiative reflects both institutions' shared commitment to practical, project-based education that equips future leaders with global perspectives and market-ready skills.
Program Highlights
- Applied Academic Immersion: Participants will engage in faculty-led classroom sessions, meta-major mapping, and hands-on laboratory experiences across Alfred State's business, IT, and applied technology departments
- Academic Pathways & Integration: Students will participate in international transfer workshops, peer-to-peer collaboration with Alfred State ambassadors, and an official "Festive Feast" welcome banquet hosted by college leadership.
- Ellicottville Winter Resort Experience: The cohort will travel to Holiday Valley Resort for beginner ski and snowboard instruction, night skiing, snow tubing, and exploration of historic downtown Ellicottville.
- Niagara & Buffalo Cultural Extension: The journey concludes with visits to landmark destinations across Western New York, including Niagara Falls State Park, the Niagara Power Vista science center, Frank Lloyd Wright’s Martin House, the Buffalo AKG Art Museum, and Buffalo’s Canalside.
This collaboration with Alfred State College bridges academic theory and real-world execution, By immersing students in Alfred State’s dynamic learning environments and the rich cultural landscape of Western New York, Hayek is opening doors to international academic pathways and preparing them to lead in an interconnected global economy.
The program culminates with travel via Toronto for international return flights, marking the completion of an intensive itinerary designed to broaden horizons both inside and outside the classroom.
