Matt DiRado is an Associate Professor of Architecture and Design whose teaching focuses on construction technology, urban design, and historic preservation. His interests include the expressive and experimental potential of building materials, mass timber, and emerging technologies in the built environment. He leads the Center for Architecture and Remote Sensing, exploring drones, photogrammetry, and digital documentation, and incorporates community-based design into his studios, using local communities as clients for student work.
