A registered nurse is available during posted hours on a by appointment only basis. Mental health counselors are available by appointment only; a person who feels they are in crisis will be seen via-telehealth or phone without an appointment on a call-in basis on both campuses. Health and Wellness Center records are kept strictly confidential.
Students should go to an Emergency Room if they need to be seen by a medical provider after hours. Nearby Emergency Rooms are located in Hornell, NY at St. James Mercy and Wellsville, NY at Jones Memorial Hospital.
If a student needs specialized services, staff can provide the names, addresses, and phone numbers of local gynecologists, orthopedic surgeons, dentists, general surgeons, internists, etc.
