Relay for Life Scheduled for Friday, April 8

Alfred State College faculty, staff, students, and members of the Alfred community are invited to participate in Relay for Life, a 12-hour fund raising event for cancer research, education, and advocacy while celebrating survivorship and remembering loved ones lost to cancer. The event is scheduled from 6 p.m. Friday, April 8 through 6 a.m. Saturday April 9, on the ASC campus. Read Article

Pioneer Swimmers finish 11th

The Alfred State College men's swimming team finished 11th at the 2011 NJCAA National Championship held at the Flickenger Center in Buffalo.  The women's team finished 16th. Read Article

David Miller (Elmira Southside) and Tara Murphy (Rochester/Wilson) placed for Alfred State College at the 2011 NJCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships at Texas Tech University. Read Article

Painted Ladies to Exhibit at Hinkle Library Gallery

Four women...four backgrounds....four approaches to art, all meeting weekly to paint together, challenge one another, and laugh. All formerly or currently work in Belmont and paint together there after work. All started with some tole painting, but moved on. All are, mostly, self-taught, other than occasional weekend seminars, or one day classes. Read Article

Pioneers Still in 10th at Swim Nationals
