Alumni Reunion, June 7-8, 2024
Featuring Athletic Hall of Fame Induction and a celebration for the 50th Anniversary of the Traffic Light.

Campus lodging is available in the NEWLY renovated MacKenzie North C-Tower. 
ONE REGISTRATION for on-campus housing is for TWO people. If you do not have someone you are staying with, within the Guest's name field write "SOLO"

Check-in is available on June 7 & Full Day Events on June 8.

June 7: 4-7 p.m. Champagne Check-In with happy hour and heavy appetizers in MacKenzie Commons.
Lawn games, music, mingling, and fun! * If you are not staying on campus, you can still join this happy hour event during the registration process *

June 8: 10:30 a.m.-12 p.m. Brunch featuring a panel discussion with the VP of Academic Affairs and deans from each school, School of Applied Sciences, School of Architecture, Mechanical Engineering Technology, and School of Applied Technology. This event will be held in the MacKenzie Commons * If you are not staying on campus, you can still join this breakfast event during the registration process *

June 8: 12-1 p.m. Big Blue Trolley ride, departing MacKenzie Commons.

June 8: 1-3 p.m. Campus Store open, 2nd Floor of the SLC.

June 8: 2:30-5 p.m.  Hall of Fame Dinner and Induction Ceremony on the 3rd floor of the SLC. A buffet meal will be served at 3 p.m. and a cash bar will be available. The Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will follow the meal. * If you are not staying on campus, you can still join this event during the registration process

June 8: 3-5 p.m. Res Life and Friends BBQ, MacKenzie Commons. During your time on campus were you an RA or RD? Did you possibly receive the prestigious Paul Buckman Award? Share your memories and stories while enjoying a 'Big Blue BBQ', a cash bar will be available. 

June 8: Evening: 50th Anniversary Celebration of the Traffic Light.
Celebration parade and ceremony including ALL previous Alfred mayors and Alfred chief of police, traffic light chant, and a friendly game of twister. Live band, vendors, food options, and FUN at the traffic light intersection!

Staying ON CAMPUS? 
IMPORTANT NOTES

* Lodging is available in the NEWLY RENNOVATED Mackenzie North C-Tower. This event will hold the first people to stay in this tower since the renovation! There are ONLY 35 rooms available so REGISTER TODAY!

* Each room has 2 beds, and the pricing is for Friday and Saturday and includes two people per room. If you ARE NOT staying with someone, please indicate that during registration by putting "SOLO" in the guest's name field.

* Check-in is on Friday from 4-7 p.m. Make sure to register for the 'Champagne Check-In' during the registration process. If you are not staying Friday, please email or call Mary Perkins at 607-587-3932, perkinma3@alfredstate.edu and we can set up a time for you to receive your room key on Saturday. 

* If you have any special accommodations, please do not hesitate to make a note within the registration process or email or call Mary Perkins at 607-587-3932, perkinma3@alfredstate.edu 

* Things to remember to bring if you are staying with us on campus:
     - Toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothbrush/toothpaste, etc.)
     - Towel (you will receive a towel with your bedding, but it is a TINY towel!)
     - Pillow (you will receive a pillow with your bedding, but similar to the towel it may be beneficial to bring one)
     - Fan (typically, June evenings are cooler but if you prefer a breeze you may like to bring one)
