To Alfred State alumni and Friends who love and appreciate the game of golf and would like to give something back to Alfred State College!
The 3rd Annual Alfred State Open will be held at the beautiful Springville Country Club on Monday, Sept. 11, 2023.
Event details:
This will be a pure scramble with no mulligan packages and other fundraising gimmicks that slow the pace of play.
To further ensure pace of play, there will be only 18 teams of four. The winning team will have their name placed on the Alfred State Open Jug (pictured above). There will also be closest-to-the-pin contest holes on all par 3's and longest drive.
Registration starts at 10:30 a.m. Shotgun start at 12 p.m. There will be a brief 19th hole reception to announce the winners of the contest holes and the tournament. You should expect to be on the road home by 6 p.m.
Open to both alumni and guests, the $175 registration fee (per player) covers green fees, carts, lunch, 19th hole appetizers and a portion will go to support our students- Alfred State's greatest asset!
NEW this year- Hole Sponsorship! For a $100, a sign with your chosen details will be greeting all at one of the beautiful 18 holes.
