Student & Faculty Success

The Alfred State College’s Jack and Jill team took home first place in the Paul Smith’s College Fall Woodsmen Competition. The team scored 1,130.5 points over the fourteen events.

Our cultural life ambassadors do programming for the whole campus and lots of their work centers around awareness of different identities and different cultural moments.”

“We have students from all over Western New York and from as far away as the other side of Syracuse here. This is not a typical kind of open house. Most of the activities are interactive so they got to experience soldering, driving excavators, wiring electrical circuits, and judging dairy cows. There were forty activities and almost every department on campus was involved.”

The Alfred State western equestrian team had a strong showing on Saturday when they opened the 2023-24 season. The team finished as the reserve hi-point team in both the AM and PM shows.
